The Magical Years

This is not the first time I'm sharing a video made by Bugey in Photobooth. But this time, I thought of compiling them into a short film since the different clips seem to come together as one story. Notice that the hero here sings his lines all throughout the movie. I've had several failed attempts to capture this singing-every-sentence phase. Thank you Photobooth for doing the job for me.

Here's 5 minutes of my son's magical years!

My son's Flemish kinder school has a special way of celebrating birthdays. For one, they don't encourage big parties (2 thumbs up from me!), just some goodies and maybe a cake. Two, the teachers really prepare for it by making them a crown, assigning a special chair for the king of the day, and compiling a notebook of classmates' scribbles for the birthday kiddie. This is the second time my boy came home as a birthday boy, happily face-painted. In this clip, he talks about how his day went as he opens the first gift from mum and dad (more lined up for opening in the next days). Hapyy birhday honey!

loads of energy

When a young boy has so much energy to expend, he finds ways to take it all out. Last year, my little one discovered Photo booth in our desktop. He instantly filled our desktop space with videos like this.

the stage mom beams

Ok. So we looked liked two ridiculous parents, clumsily holding our cameras out of nervousness (thank God for tripods) while our son was out there doing his act so well. We were ready to settle with a "stand-up" performance (you know, the kind where the performer does nothing but stand still) but our little one's surprise act just made us fall for him to bits!
Here are two clips of him on stage for his school play ever! Way to go honey! Your biggest fans (Mom and Dad) are so proud of you!
